测定意义：FC是构成细胞膜的主要成分，也是合成肾上腺皮质激素、性激素、胆汁酸及维生素D等生理活性物质的重要原料。FC浓度可作为脂代谢的指标。
测定原理： FC氧化酶催化FC生成△4-胆甾烯酮和H2O2，过氧化物酶催化H2O2、4-氨基安替比林和酚生成红色醌类化合物，在500nm有吸收峰，其颜色深浅与FC含量成正比。
自备仪器和用品：水浴锅、可调式移液枪、可见分光光度计、石英比色皿、异丙醇和蒸馏水。
