DAB显色试剂盒是一种借助辣根过氧化物酶(HRP)反应，可用于免疫组化显色、原位杂交显色或Western、Southern 、Northern、EMSA等膜显色的试剂盒。DAB是辣根过氧化物酶的常用底物。在辣根过氧化物酶的催化下，DAB会产生棕色沉淀。该棕色沉淀不溶于水和乙醇，可用于正常脱水封片。
本产品采用特殊配方，利用DAB和多种金属离子能形成不同颜色的稳定复合物的原理，在配方中额外添加了金属盐对DAB反应进行了增敏调色。能达到比常规DAB显色清晰度更高的染色结果，染色结果为蓝黑色，适合于蛋白印迹、免疫组织化学和免疫细胞化学、斑点印迹和生物芯片等的染色和显色反应。
