Evans Blue又称偶氮蓝,与台盼蓝都是细胞活性染料,常用于检测细胞膜的完整性和细胞是否存活。活细胞因有外排功能而无法被<a target="_blank" title=" href="https://www.solarbio.com/goods-47209.html" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; text-decoration-line: none; cursor: pointer; color: black; outline: none; font-family: MicrosoftYaHeiUI; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">埃文斯蓝染成蓝色,而死细胞会被染成淡蓝色。因此可以通过此方法在显微镜下区分死细胞与活细胞,但无法区分死亡与坏死。


Evans Blue是一种非渗透染料,在质膜存在损伤时,染料可进入细胞质和核中并将它们染成蓝色。可用于检查细胞的活力和研究血脑屏障的通透性。


Evans Blue也是一种有效的L-谷氨酸摄取抑制剂, 通过膜结合的兴奋性氨基酸转运蛋白 (EAAT)。

In Vivo

Evans blue 染色尾静脉注射;2% Evans blue;1mL

Post BMS or PLS implantation, ≥ three healthy SD rats were randomly selected and respectively anesthetized for periods of 1 week and 1, 3 months. The first involved a 10% chloral hydrate by intraperitoneal injection, and then a 1 mL 2% Evans blue (Solarbio, CAS: 314-13-6) was injected by tail intravenous injection. These rats were subsequently sacrificed 1 h after the dyeing cycle at which point the heart was perfused with 0.9% saline containing one heparin sodium salt (Solarbio, CAS: 9041-08-1). At this time, blood vessels with implanted scaffolds were removed. After removing excess tissue fat, blood vessels were dissected longitudinally, fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde. Subsequently, these blood vessels were stored at 4 ◦C to be used for collecting images of the endocardium coloration.

Mouse563 adult male C57BL/6 J mice (810 weeks old, 2225g)2% Evans blue (5 mL/kg)intravenous injection

For analysis of the integrity of the BBB in mice, Evans blue dye (EBD, IE0280, Solarbio, Beijing, China) was used as a tracer because of its strong affinity for albumin, which prevents its passage through an intact BBB. Quantitative measurement of EBD extravasation was performed to evaluate BBB permeability. Briefly, following intravenous injection of 2% Evans blue (5 mL/kg), the mice were euthanized after 1  h, and brain tissue was carefully collected and homogenized.

The left anterior descending coronary artery0.5 mL of 1% Evans Blue solution

A retrograde injection of approximately 0.5 mL of 1% Evans Blue solution (Solarbio, IE0280) was performed via the aortic root, and subsequent aortic clamping was implemented with hemostatic forceps. The non- ischemic area of the heart, apart from the LAD region, was stained. The heart was then extracted, cleaned with PBS at 4, dried on filter paper, and stored in a freezer at -80°C before slicing.

In Vitro

Cell viability(生菜幼苗的根段, 0.25% (w/v) Evans blue, 1h, 600nm

Root cell viability was also quantitatively evaluated by detecting the relative uptake of Evans blue. Root segments of the treated lettuce seedlings were soaked in 0.25% (w/v) Evans blue (Solarbio, Beijing, China) for 1 h at 25°C. The stained roots were washed with distilled H2O, and then soaked in 1 mL N,N-dimethylformamide for 24 h at 25°C in darkness to extract the Evans blue that had been absorbed into the lettuce roots. Absorbance of the released Evans blue was measured at 600 nm by a spectrophotometer. The relative Evans blue uptake was calculated as the ratio between the OD values of the treated group and the control.
