普鲁士蓝铁染色法（Perl's Iron Stain）是检测细胞和组织中非血红素铁的常用组织化学方法之一，通过形成蓝色的普鲁士蓝沉淀检测骨髓及肝、脾、肾等组织细胞中的铁蛋白和含铁血黄素沉积。该染色方法可以很好的区分含铁血黄素和其他色素，但是受限于染色原理，对于低于30μM/g的铁含量很难形成肉眼可见的阳性标记。
普鲁士蓝染色试剂盒（核固红法）稳定性好、可以长期保存、不易产生沉淀、应用范围广、可以进行复染。该染色液的复染液采用核固红，是最经典、最常用的复染液。
